Many people find it difficult to use Leonardo ai because it looks complicated. In this article, I’m going to show you how easy it is to use this image generator to create really good graphic and text designs.

Unlike other ai tools like midjourney, Leonardo AI offers new users’ free credits to generate images. That means you can start creating right away. If you don’t have an account yet, you can click here to sign-up for free.

Getting started

Once you’ve signed up, the next step is to go to the Leonardo AI website. At the top of the page, you’ll see a button that says “Launch App. You should click on it and this will take you straight to the login screen. After signing in, you’ll land on your dashboard. From here, find and click on the “Image Generation” option.

Use the right settings

Before you begin prompting, you’ll have to set things up. On the right side of your screen, you’ll see a section for preset options. Leonardo has a lot of presets, but only “Leonardo Phoenix” can create text at the time of writing. Plus, it can also create other high-quality illustration style images that works really well in any design project.

Next, you should scroll down to the “Prompt Enhance” option. You’re going to want to turn this off. Why? Because keeping it off gives you more control over your final image, making sure it aligns exactly with your creative vision.

Now it’s time to decide on the style of your image. If you’re going for a clean, bold look, choose the “Graphic Design Vector” style. On the other hand, if you’re looking for something with more detail, you should go for the “Illustration” style. Both options are fantastic, so it really depends on what you’re aiming for.

While it’s not necessary, I prefer to set the image dimensions to fit the design I’m making. For example, 4 by 5 or 3 by 4 ratio works really well for t-shirt designs.

If there are specific things you don’t want to see in your designs, you can scroll down to turn on the negative prompt. There are other settings, but you shouldn’t worry about them. The default option is good enough, so you can leave them as they are.

You can now start prompting

Once you’re done with the settings. You can now write your prompt in this box. Then click the generate button. And there you have it! With these simple steps, you’re all set to start creating amazing images with Leonardo AI.
